Why this festival matters

About the Festival

Promoting your game with AI can be hard, and has become a controversial topic for both game developers and players, with many misconceptions about the technology and it uses.

That’s why we are hosting an AI Game Festival geared toward helping games generated with AI get more coverage but also EDUCATE how AI is actually used in game development and what slop actually means.

To that end, we’re dividing games based on how AI was used, so we can categorize and promote different aspects of AI and give players the ability to support the types of AI use they feel are appropriate.

We will also have awards for best-looking game and best gameplay.
